Hello and Welcome!

This website highlights fine art creations by John Anderson, that’s me. I’m a local artist from Mechanicsburg, PA.

I took a few art courses in college, but then spent my life working on other endeavors, until six years ago! I’m back at it after a long career instructing graduate students in applied statistics —feel free to yawn!

Although most of my Line, Shape, & Color was focused on graphs, I’m now renewing my old love, art.

Many of my sketches and pictures come from when our family vacationed on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Others include some very loveable pets. I use graphite, colored pencils, and acrylics. I hope you enjoy this page and I hope it inspires you to venture into your own world of art. Don’t wait 37 years!
